Massage Therapy
Deep Tissue Massage Therapy
Massage helps relieve muscle tension, reduce stress and evoke feelings of calmness. Although massage affects the body as a whole, it particularly influences the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic and nervous system. Aimed at easing tension and stress, helping you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to face the world. This type of massage is customised with pressure, trigger points and various techniques depending on your needs to optimise your individual response in easing tension and releasing toxins. A combination and variety of massage strokes are used to encourage relaxation in areas of tension, whilst the sensation of touch soothes the nervous system, allowing stress to ebb away and restoring your zest for life.
Sports Therapy Massage
Despite its name, sports massage is not only for those who take regular exercise. All of us are likely to suffer from muscular tension or discomfort at some point in our lives. Whether it is the result of sitting hunched over a computer, lifting heavy items, repetitive occupational activities, postural problems or even a trip or fall, sports massage is very effective at reducing muscular pain and dysfunction. For regular athletes, sports massage can also provide a vital part of your training support. It can help to decrease your recovery time between training sessions or from an injury.
Massage appointments can be made for 30min to 60 min.
